The analysis of radiation reactions of the gastrointestinal tract in combined radiation therapy in 151 patients suffering from cervix uteri cancer of the I to III degrees is given. Radiation therapy was carried out under static conditions of a twoand four-field irradiation on the apparatus Luch-I'', Rokus'' and linear amplifier with the energy of 5 MeV and intracavitary therapy according to an afterloading principle. The paper also describes some nosological forms of radiation pathology of the intestine-rectosigmoiditis, spastic enterocolitis, their clinical course and means of conservative therapy. It presents recommendations for individual planning and performing telegammatherapy, conditions of fractionating radiation dose, and also optimal levels of cumulative absorbed doses (from 3800 to 4000 rad) in the lateral regions of parametral cellular tissue.
