>In connection with experimertal investigation of scattering of photons by photons it is of interest to examine this process, starting from the general properties of the Smatrix and elementary physical considerations. The purpose of the present effort is to obtain information on the structure of the S-matrix and the minimum number of parameters necessary for describing the process in question. (R.C.)
