THORON EXHALATION IN RADIOTHORIUM-BURDENED BEAGLES
In dogs injected with Th/sup 228/ or Ra/sup 228/, only a small fraction of the thoron atoms formed in the body are exhaled. In Th/sup 228/ injected dogs, the fraction of thoron exhaled decreases as time after injection and injected dose increase. In Ra/sup 228/ injected dogs, the fraction of thoron exhaled in even less than that in Th/sup 228/ injected dogs. (auth)
