The electrostatic accelerator of the Physics Institute of the University of Milan is described. This instrument was designed to be used as a 14 Mev neutron source by means of the reaction D + T = alpha + n + 17.587 Mev. A total flux of 5 x 10/sup 9/ neutrons/sec can be obtained, with the accelerating potential of 150 kv. (auth)
