RELATION BETWEEN MEASUREMENTS OF DEPOSITED ACTIVITY AFTER THE WINDSCALE ACCIDENT OF OCTOBER 1957

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4297103
The measurements made at Windscale of gaanma dose rate and of I/sup 131/ activity in grass, soil, and milk have been examined and the interrelations between them worked out. The activity of I/sup 131/ per unit area of ground, deduced from gamma dose rate, is in good agreement with that found by direct measurement of samples in the laboratory. (auth)
