INTERNAL CONVERSION COEFFICIENTS OF CERTAIN TRANSITIONS IN Eu$sup 147$ AND Eu$sup 14$$sup 9$ (in Russian)
A method for determining internal conversion coefficients which does not require decay scheme data is described. The method is based on measurements of the number of conversion electrons and gamma photons (by the photoelectrons) emitted from the same source. Results of calibration experiments made with ThB, Au/sup 198/ and Cs/sup 137/ are tabulated, and conversion electron spectra for ThB with E gamma = 236.6 kev, Au/sup 198/ with E gamma = 412 kev, and Cs/sup 137/ with E gamma = 661.5 kev are presented. Spectra of Gd/sup 147/ and Gd/sup 149/ conversion electrons and photoelectrons are included. Schemes of basic transi- tion distribution in Eu/sup 147/ and Eu/sup 149 and the variations in the distribution of the lower levels in Eu/sup 147/, Eu/sup 149/ and Eu/sup 151/ transitions are given.
