CONVERSION ELECTRON SPECTRA OF Gd$sup 147$ AND Eu$sup 14$$sup 7$ (in Russian)

The total conversion spectrum of gadoliniurn containing lines of several isotopes was investigated. Curves were plotted according to reducing intensity with time. Among the isotopes found was a previously unknown isotope Gd/sup x/ with half life T /sub 1/2/ = 35 plus or minus 1 hr. Decay curves for K- conversion lines for transitions ments made for Gd/sup 147/ conversion electrons up to approximates 400 kev and from approximates 4OO kev to 1.5 Mev are presented diagrammatically. Nuclear transition multiplicities in Eu/sup 147/ results of Eu/sup 147/ measurements, and experimental curves for the spectrum of Eu/sup 147 conversion electrons are anayzed. The decay scheme of Eui/sup 147/-- Sm/sup 147/ is supplemented with additional transition lines 76-5, 600, 676, and 800 kev. Hypothetical decay schemes of Gd/sup 147/ Eu/sup 147/and Eu/sup 147/-Sm/ sup 147/ are included. (R.V.J.)
