THE DECAY SCHEME OF Eu$sup 14$$sup 7$ (in Russian)
A triple-focusing beta spectrometer and a gamma - gamma coincidence scheme were used in an investigation of Eu/sup 147/ conversion spectra and decay. Two sets of measurements between 750 to 1100 kev were made within a 48- day interval. Conversion electrons of 800, 900, 957, and 1082 kev were found. The data confirm the 900 kev transition excited in Eu/sup 147/ decay. The gamma - gamma coincidences indicate transi- tions of 76.5to 121, 121 to 676, 198 to 603, 121 to 780, 198 to 700, 121 to 957, and 198 to 880 kev. The obtained results confirm the existence of 198, 800, and 1080 kev. The presence of 198 to 700 and 121 to 780 kev transitions and direct transition at 900 kev permit the introduction of the 900-kev level in the Sm/sup 147/ scheme. Positron emission was not observed in Eu/sup 147/ decay. The upper limit of the positron spectrum intensity is found to be (16 plus or minus 5)% of the intensity of the 121 kev K-conversion line.
