The thermoelectric properties of carbides, nitrides, borides, and silicides of transition metals (NbC,TaC, TiC, WC, ZrC, TaN, TiN, NbB, TaB/sub 2/, TiB/sub 2/, VB/sub 2/, ZrB/sub 2/, Mo/sub 2/B/sub 5/, W/sub 2/B/sub 5/, NiS/sub 2/ , and Fesi/sub 2/) were investiga ted in the temperature interval 300 to 1400 deg K.
