INFRARED ABSORPTION SPECTRA OF URANYL HALOGENIDE ANHYDRIDES (in French)

Journal Article · · Compt. rend.
OSTI ID:4291791
The preparation of anhydrous uranyl chloride and bromide and the determination of the infrared absorption spectra of samples carefully shielded from the air show that the anhydrous uranyl ion is linear. This conclusion angrees with that from x-ray-diffraction work. The results explain previous contradictions. (tr-auth)
