A dichloride-dibromide uranyl of potassium was isolated in the anhydrous form and in various hydrated forms. It is prepared. in particular, by compression of mixtures of uranyl chloride and potassium bromide. The infrared absorption permitted the discrimination of this complex salt. (tr-auth)
