SCATTERING OF NEUTRONS BY ORIENTED NONSPHERICAL NUCLEI (in Russian)

Scattering of neutrons by oriented nonspherical nuclei is examined. The opaque nuclear model is employed fn the calculations of the scattering cross section. It is demonstrated that nonsphericity effects are more appreciable in oriented nuclei than in nonoriented nuclei. It is also shown that a noticeable azimuthal asymnnetry appears in the angular distributiou of neutrons scattered on oriented nonspherical nuclei. (auth)
