THE EFFECTS OF $alpha$-PARTICLES ON AQUEOUS ACIDS (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Atomnaya Energ.
OSTI ID:4260782
The initial radiochemical yield of hydrogen peroxide in a wide range of plutonium solutions was found to be equal to 1.20 molecules per 100 ev of absorbed energy. The balanced finai hydrogen peroxide conceatrations in 0.8 N sulfuric acid is ~5 to 8 x lO/sup 18/ molecules. (tr-auth)
