SCATTERING OF HIGH ENERGY ELECTRONS ON LIGHT NONSPHERICAL NUCLEI (in Ukrainian)

Formulas are obtained defining cross sections of elastic and non-elastic (with excitation of the rotating levels of nuclei) scattering of high-energy electrons on nonspherical nuclei. The calculations are made in the Born approximation, which is sufficiently exact in the case of light nuclei. It was shown that the nonsphericity results in an apparent increase of the nucleus radius, additional elastic scattering is caused by the presence in the nucleus of a spin I > 1/2, and the calculated cross section of the excitation at the 1.37- Mev level in the Mg/sup 24/ nucleus qualitatively agrees with the experiment.
