Li$sup 7$(p,$gamma$) ANGULAR DISTRIBUTION IN THE 441-kev RESONANCE AND SPIN- ORBIT COUPLING IN Be$sup 8$ (in German)

Investigations of the angular distribution of the Li/sup 7/(p, gamma ) radiation show a clear positive anisotropy with cos/sup 2/ sigma of several percent. From the measurement of the 17.6-Mev radiation, a spin ratio of approximately 4 : 1 is obtained for the formation of the Be/sup 8/ intermediate state 1+ from the 2 and 1 spins. This is only possible when there is intermediate coupling in the formation of this Be/sup 8/ state. The a/K ratio is 2 to 3 accordlng to the calculations of French. (tr-auth)
