Rats were maintained for four generations on a diet which included 35% dry solids of irradiated pork. No statistical differences with respect to growth, reproduction, and longevity were observed between the test animals and the controls. Preliminary results are included on the effects of diets containing irradiated peaches, carrots, jam, and flour on the growth of dogs. (C.H.)
