SPECTROGRAPHIC DETERMINATION OF RARE EARTHS IN CALCIUM FLUORIDE (PREPARATION)

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4248829
Calcium fiuoride is decomposed by perchloric acid and rare earths are precipitated on ferric hydroxide by addition of ammonia and finally precipitated by ammonia in the presence of a standard amount of iron. The oxides obtained by ignition are examined spectrographically. The method is based on normal spectrochemicall procedure. (auth)
