INVESTIGATION OF THE 16.1 Mev EXCITATION LEVEL OF C$sup 1$$sup 2$

Journal Article · · Nuclear Phys.
The radiation width for the transition to the ground state of the 16.1- Mev excitation level of C/sup 12/ was determined by measuring the resonant absorption of -rays. The level width was found to be 7.5 sintering time 1.9 ev. The square of the matrix element for E2 transition, expressed in Weisskopf units, is 2.17 sintering time 0.55. (auth)
