BALL SAFETY DEVICE, PHASE I--RECOVERY OF BALLS

A series of tests was run to determine if balls can be removed from the amulus of a ball safety device. The balls were removed by a stream of dry air. Results are given for glass, steel, and iron balls ranging from 1/16inch to/1/8- inch diameter. The removal time was small, in some cases as low as 14 sec. (W.D.M.)
