Ninth joint conference on applications of air pollution meteorology with A and WMA
This conference was held January 28--February 2, 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia. The purpose of this conference was to provide a multidisciplinary forum for exchange of state-of-the-art information on micrometeorology, cloud physics, atmospheric chemistry, fluid mechanics, climatology, and engineering. Attention is focused on the following topics: the dispersion environment, meteorology in emission determinations, accidental releases, long-range and mesoscale pollutant transport and fate, meteorology and photochemistry, advanced dispersion models and modeling systems, topics in model evaluation, complex flows affecting dispersion near buildings and urban environments, coastal and other local flows, meteorology and air toxics issues, modeling issues and the 1990 Clean Air Act and the effect of complex terrain on air quality. Individual papers have been processed separately for inclusion in the appropriate data bases.
