Fourth conference on mountain meteorology
Conference
·
OSTI ID:5757813
The present conference continues the theme of previous Mountain Meteorology Conferences in providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information on topics for which the presence of complex terrain has a fundamental effect. Papers concerning the distinctive conditions associated with the meteorology and climatology of mountainous areas remain a central focus. Emphasis is also given to the effects of mountains on atmospheric dynamics, in order to facilitate interaction with the Waves and Stability Conference.
