The constitution diagram was plotted for Cr-Re alloy using physicochemical analysis (the temperature of melt, microscopic and x-ray- diffraction analysis and hardness and microhardness with two peritectics of 1 + BETA poration. at 2350 and 1 + 0 alpha at 2280 ; where alpha is solid solution with chromium base and BETA with rhenium base). In the poration. + BETA double phase the hardness of the alloy reduces from 724 kg/mm/sup 2/ for alloy with 88 wt.% (67.5 at.%) Re down to 433 kg/mmn/ sup 2/ for alloys with 93 wt.% (72.5 at.%) rhenium and down to 254 kg/mm/sup 2/ for pure rhentum.
