REPORT ON THE EVALUATION OF BP-85 INCONELTYPE COVERED ELECTRODE

The development and production of a new Inconel-type covered electrode capable of meeting higher quality standards required for radioactive system service were undertaken. This electrode is intended for welding Inconel io itself, Inconel to dissimilar metal, and carbon steel overlaying. Results from an evaluation of the BP-85 are summarized. (W.D.M.)
