DISTRIBUTION OF TOTAL RADIATION WIDTHS OF Cu$sup 5$$sup 9$

The reaction Ni/sup 58/(p, gamma )Cu/sup 59/ was studied for proton energies up to 4.3 Mev. The spacing of the resonances for this reaction is unusually wide, being ~40 kev at Ep = 4.3 Mev. Isotopically separated targets of Ni/sup 58/ were bombarded with protons from the Harwell electrostatic generator, the targets having a thickness of 3Mev protons. (W.D.M.)
