STRUCTURAL CHANGES AND ABNORMAL DEPENDENCE OF Ni-Fe (50% Ni) ALLOY MAGNETIC PROPERTIES ON TEMPERATURE (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Fiz. Metal. i Metalloved.
OSTI ID:4193121
Magnetic properties of Ni--Fe (50% Ni) alloys vary with structural changes following thermal treatment. An abnormal temperature effect on magnetic saturation, maximum absorption, and corrosive force was observed in 1200 deg C annealed alloy during heating from 300 to360 deg C. The process is induced by order formation in disordered fast-cooled alloys. The anomalous properties are retained at room temperature. Specimens subjected to ordering annealing did not show anomalous magnetic properties at the investigated temperatures. (tr-auth)
