ELECTRON CONFIGURATION AND HYPERFINE STRUCTURE OF PLUTONIUM I (in French)

Journal Article · · Compt. rend.
OSTI ID:4191764
The precise measurement of the ratios of the intensities of the components of the hyperfine structure of the spectral rays of Pu I was made with a photoelectric Fabry-Perot spectrometer. The J values of about thirty levels of the Pu I spectrum were deduced, and these values led to the 5f/sup 6/7s/sup 2/ configuration for the fundamental term of Pu I. (tr-auth)
