Time Analyzer Utilizing the Argonne Type 256-Channel Pulse-Height Analyzer

A time analyzer was designed which is capable of utilizing the memory of any multichannel analyzer which employs pulse height to time conversion or any similar instrument. The circuit described was specifically adapted for use with the Argonne type 256-channel analyzer. Channel widths from 1 μ sec to >38 μ sec are possible with a minimum dead time of 38 μ sec.
