Platinum resistance thermometer
This standard covers the design, fabrication, and quality assurance requirements for sheathed alumina-insulated platinum resistance thermometers for continuous measurement of temperatures in the range of Q°C to 660°C (32 to 1220°F) in applications requiring high accuracy. These thermometers are for installation in thermowells and are not intended to form part of a pressure retaining boundary or to be exposed directly to reactors coolants or other process fluids.
