BEAM OBSERVATION ELECTRODES FOR THE AGS
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4177883
Signals from induction electrodes will be used to determine the AGS beam position during the first few revolutions as well as to obtain an estimate of the harmonic content of the betatron oscillations in the circulating beam. Electrodes were designed that give essentially a linear variation of induced signal with displacements along a vertical or horizontal direction. (W.D.M.)
