MAGNETIC FIELD DISTORTIONS IN STRONG FOCUSING ACCELERATORS (in Russian)

Descriptions are given of an installation for rapidly determining magnetic field gradient in strong-focusing accelerators. The error in relative distortion measurements during injection is approximately 10/sup 3/, and at the finish of the working cycle it is down to 5 x 10/sup -4/. Data are also given on the correction winding producing the surface pole current. (tr-auth)
