ABSOLUTE MEASUREMENT OF Au$sup 198$ (INTERCOMPARISON WITH HARWELL)

The techniques and methods developed for primary standardization of Au/ sup 198/ are described. The results obtained by solid angle, beta-gamma coincidences, and 4 pi counter methods, were compared with Harwell's results on the same gold foils and agreement was found within the limits of the 2 to 6% estimated error.
