Mice were irradiated lethally with gamma rays at high dose rates and were treated with isologous bone marrow. The irradiated mice responded well to the bone marrow treatment as evidenced by rapid improvement in the peripheral blood picture, body weight, and histological findthgs of the hematopeietic organs, as well as by the reduced mortality rate.
