Studies on the polarography of the quinolinemonocarboxylic acids and on the microdetermination of 2,2dinitropropane in mixtures with mononitropropanes are reported. Progress was made in certain other directions such as in the design of simple electromagnetically operated burette valves and in the investigation of the argentometric amperometric determination of cyanide. Some preliminary investigations were made concerning the possibility of measuring by voltammetric means the rate of fission of nitrite ion from mononitroparaffins under hydrolysis conditions. (auth)
