The spin structure of the amplitude for photoproduction of pi -mesons on nucleons is examined on the basis of the concept of moving scattering amplitude poles as a function of the orbital momentum. The Regge poles are classified with respect to various quantum numbers. Polarization of recoil nucleons in photoproduction of pi -mesons on a polarized target and the polarization of gamma quanta produced in slowing down of fast n-mesons due to interaction with nucleons are calculated. It is shown that the contributions from different poles yield qualitatively different results for the polarization. The amplitude for photoproduction of pi -mesons on nucleons at an angle of 0 deg is considered. (auth)
