ARTIFICIAL RADIOACTIVITY IN SPRING AND RUNNING WATER (in German)

Journal Article · · Atomkernenergie (West Germany) Merged with Kerntechnik to form Atomkernenerg./Kerntech. Acta Radiol. Changed to Acta Radiol.: Oncol., Radiat. Phys.
OSTI ID:4124354
The gamma spectra of spring and running water samples were investigated. In spring water the radionuclide Ce/sup 144/could be identified. In running water the same radionuclides were found as in rainwater samples, among them I/sup 131/. The isotopes found in these samples were fission products originating from the French Sahara nuclear test explosion of February 13, 1960. (auth)
