The reactor Siloe is a swinnming-pool reactor (open core and its normal power is 10 Mw. A description of the core, experimental devices, various supply circuits, andd hot cell for dismandtling is given. Fuel elements are of the MTR type (plane plates bundle with 18 plates in each element); the uranium is 90% enriched. Projected experiments are described both from the fundamental research andd the applied research points of view. (auth)
