POLARIZATION OF PROTONS SCATTERED ON O$sup 1$$sup 6$ (in Russian)

The polarization of 3 to 4.5 Mev protons elastically scattered on O/sup 16/ is calculated for three angles: 60, 90, and 120 deg . It is shown that the polarization is very sensitive to the choice of the level parameters of the F/sup 17/ nucleus. (auth) Elastic scattering of gamma quanta on oriented nuclei is considered. The possibillty of an experimental study of nuclear optical anisotropy parameters including the vector electric dipole polarizabillty of nuclei is discussed. (au+h)
