Use of an approximate single folding potential for describing elastic /sup 6/Li ion scattering

Approximate analytic expressions are obtained for a single folding potential which are used to describe elastic /sup 6/Li ion scattering by different nuclei at the energy 90 MeV and also /sup 6/Li ion scattering by the /sup 12/C nucleus in the energy range 4.5--156 MeV. The calculations show that on the basis of this approximation one can satisfactorily describe elastic /sup 6/Li ion scattering in a broad energy range without introducing an energy dependence of the parameters and that apparently the potential obtained satisfactorily describes the surface nucleus-nucleus interaction.
