EVOLUTION OF THE DIFFUSION COEFFICIENTS OF Li$sup 6$, Na$sup 22$, AND K$sup 42$ IN FUSED KNO$sub 3$-LiNO$sub 3$ SYSTEMS (in French)

The diffusion coefficients D/sub Li/, K/sub Na/, and D/sub K/ were determined in various KNO/sub 3/- LiNO/sub 3/ mixtures, varying from 4 to 99% LiNO/sub 3/ by weight. The D/sub K//D/sub Li/, D/sub K//D/sub Na/, and D/ sub Na/ /D/sub Li/ ratios thus measured are closer to unity than predicted by the Stokes- Einstein relation. This difference can be explained by the polyionic migration processes. The variation of the diffusion coefficients as a function of the composition of the mixture also confirms this hypothesis.
