ABSOLUTE MEASUREMENTS OF BETA ACTIVITIES IN LIQUID SCINTILLATORS

A method of absolute measurement of beta activities by dissolving a sample in a liquid scintillator was developed. It consists of the extrapolation of bias curves to zero point of discrininnation. Some problems of this method are discussed. (auth)
