ABSOLUTE COUNTING OF $beta$-PARTICLES BY MEANS OF A PLASTIC SCINTILLATOR

A procedure is described for obtaining 4 pi geometry by the use of a split plastic scintillator. The absolute counting rate is determined by extrapolating to zero volltage the bias curves measured wlth three different values of the high voltage on the photomultiplier tube. (auth)
