ENERGY BALANCE FOR THE TERNARY FISSION OF $sup 235$U INDUCED BY SLOW NEUTRONS (in French)

A detailed energy-balance for the ternary fission of /sup 235/U by thermal neutrons was made by three measurements: comparison of the kinetic energy distribution of the fission fragments in binary fission of /sup 235/U and in tripartition; a comparison of the total kinetic energy distributions of the fragments for the two same phenomena; and a study of the dependence of the mean energy of the ternary particles on the total kinetic energy of the associated heavy fragments.
