Adult female mice were exposed to single whole-body radiation of 2000 Kvp x rays, /sup 60/Co gamma rays, and 14.1 Mev fast neutrons. From the probit regression lines on 30-day mortality of mice following exposure to each radiation, it was determined that the LD/sub 50/30/ was 640 rad for 200 Kvp x rays, 870 rad for /sup 60/Co gamma rays, and 560 rad for 14.1 Mev fast neutrons. When the RBE of x rays is assumed to be 1.0, the RBE of gamma rays is 0.7 and that of fast neutrons is 1.1 for LD/sub 50/30/. (from NSA of Japan)
