The spectral-luminescent and lasing properties (lasing frequency and lasing threshold) of solutions of 3-amino-N-methylphthalimide in n-propanol and glycerol and of Rhodamine 6G in isopropyl alcohol have been compared with the energy parameters characterizing intermolecular relaxation processes with variations in the temperature and viscosity of the solution over wide ranges. It has been shown that the regular change in the frequency and threshold intensity of pumping when the solution is cooled is chiefly a consequence of a change in the relative arrangement of the equilibrium and Franck-Condon states of the activator molecule as a result of a change in the state of aggregation of the solvent.
