Radiation Effects on Nuclear Ribonucleic Acid of Ehrlich Ascites Tumor Cells

Journal Article · · Radiation Research
DOI:https://doi.org/10.2307/3571020· OSTI ID:4042793

Two types of RNA from nuclei of Ehrlich ascites tumor cells were fractionated by ion-exchange chromatography. In vitro irradiation of the cells caused a change in the chromatographic profile of the nucleolar RNA. The observed radiation effects are influenced by the availability or lack of free SH groups.
