Two isotherms at 1600 and 1300 deg C for the niobium-tungsten --hafnium alloy system are included. The lattice spacing data obtained from the alloys quenched from the two temperatures corroborate the metallographic placement of the niobium terminal solid solution boundaries in these two isotherms. Three modified microhardness contour diagrams for the niobium -- tungsten - hafnium alloys annealed at 1600, 1300, and 1100 deg C are presented. The second phase appearing in the ternary alloy system was not identified by x-ray diffraction technique; however, the investigation is being continued. (auth)
