The mean numbers of pi mesons produced at 1.7 and 3.0 Bev are, respectively, 1.86 and 2.50 (with 1.17 and 1.59 charged particles). In 3-Bev reactions the mean number of K/sup >/sP>s/sup P/ mesons produced is 0.059. (R.V.J.)
