CHANGE OF THE PERIPHERAL BLOOD AFTER BLOODLETTING IN ANIMALS SUFFERING FROM ACUTE RADIATION SICKNESS (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Vopr. Radiobiol., Akad. Nauk Arm. SSR, Sektor Radiobiol., Sb. Tr.
OSTI ID:4022772

The experiments were carried out on dogs and rabbits. An acute blood loss affects the course of radiation sickness and the blood picture, depending upon the amount of the blood discharged, time intervals between bloodletting and irradiation, and upon the dose and conditions of irradiation as well. In the irradiated animals the blood loss and the restoration of the lost blood take place against the background of compensatory and restoring mechanisms. (auth)
