Dynamics of /sup 210/Po distribution in hypophysis, thyroid, and parathyroid glands in white rats during radiation sickness were studied using 150- to 200-g female rats injected with 0.017 mu C of /sup 210/Po.. The maximum accumulation of /sup 210/Po was observed in the hypophysis on the 10th day and in the thyroid gland between 10 and 40 days. /sup 210/Po has different distributions in the front and back hypophysis, with a sharp reduction in the back portion. After 100 days /sup 210/Po is hardly traceable. (R.V.J.)
