THE ELASTIC SCATTERING OF 29 MEV $sup 3$He-PARTICLES BY Cl, Kr, AND Xe

Angular distributions for the scattering of 29 Mev He/sup 3/ particles by Cl, Kr, and Xe were measured using a photcgraphic plate method. Absolute differential cross sections for elastic scattering are given in the center-of- mass system in the angular range l4 deg to 80 deg . The experimental results are analyzed in terms of the optical model of the interaction and best fit parameters of this model are obtained. (auth)
